The Settlement Crisis Support Workers provide short-term counselling support to eligible clients who are experiencing immediate crisis and or barriers with regards to their settlement and integration in Canada. The clients are provided individual and family counselling support services to empower them in developing effective solutions during challenging and crisis situations.
Through the Settlement Crisis Support Program, we assist newcomers experiencing a time of intense, challenging and stressful turning point in their lives, which may lead to unstable outcomes affecting the individual, community or whole society. The crisis situation, intensity and type are defined by the individual and their tolerance level.
