Care for Newcomer Children: Punjabi Community Health Services is funded to provide care to newcomer children while parents participate in IRCC-funded services, this is a support service for settlement clients who have a children age range from 19 months to 12 years. This is a support service for settlement clients where CNC -SDR provides developmentally appropriate activities for children while their parents attend their settlement sessions with a settlement worker. The Care for Newcomer Program follows a philosophy of learning through play by creating a welcoming environment for newcomer children.
